Does Frostburg Deserve the Title of Being a Party School?

Whenever most people mention that they attend Frostburg University, a lot of people are quick to associate Frostburg with tons of snow and of course A LOT of partying. So, after walking through Tawes and looking for random faces, I actually ended up with a mixed review. Jessie Ragland, a super senior from Waldorf, was quick to say yes. She felt that, "Every school is a party school and we are not a top dog in the party category. We have a few bars on campus but that's it." This Education Major also expressed that, "Compared to Maryland, I hear a lot of girls pee all over their campus and their Greek life is huge!" Shannon Dunn, a junior from Annapolis, a Sociology major, felt the exact opposite. Shannon was quick to claim the opposite saying that, "I don't think we are a party school. There's so much to do such as UPC, CPC, Greek Life and everything else. There's so much to do that you don't have to choose to party all the time." Shannon then intelligently put, " College is what you make of it." A bystander named Allison quickly chirped in, "Just because some people party every night, doesn't mean the majority does. A lot of people go home on the weekend." After putting in her two cents, Allison quickly walked off.
Heather Murphy, a Senior from Preston, pursuing Accounting was by far the most enthused. Heather exclaimed, "Hell yeah Frostburg is a party school! There's nothing else to do but drink. Come on, today is Thursday and we are all going to Dimes. And tomorrow as soon as my class is over, we hit up the liquor store and party that night. Oh and we'll do it all over again Saturday night!" Before I even finished getting her information, Heather said, "Do you drink? Thought so, you should join us tonight!" So, the juries still out on whether or not Frostburg deserves the party school title.
