Trump Seeks to put out the Fire in Property Debate
Donald Trump is proposing to purchase the 45-51 Park Place property. This property is located across the street from "Ground Zero," the former site of the Twin Towers. Islamic leaders are planning to build a mosque at this property. However, there are many protests against this including a Florida preacher who formerly claimed that he would publicly burn copies of the Quran if the construction of the mosque occurs. The preacher has since decided that he will not burn the Islamic holy book.
However, Trump commented that he plans to purchase the property, not because it's glamorous but simply to end the feud.
