Iran Stands firm over Ashtiani Stoning Case

A 43 year-old woman and mother of two in Iran is being charged with murder and adultery. She is being sentenced with life in prison, or death by stoning. She is also being charged with 99 lashes because she failed to wear her head scarf. These violent consequences from her actions are being questioned in the Iranian Supreme Court. The question this article poses is do other countries have the right to question other countries legal systems? Is death row, death by the electric chair any more barbaric than stoning? This is an important article because who is to say what is morally right or wrong, and when is it appropriate to intervene.
